1. Purpose of this notice
Yolisto (yolisto.app) is a real estate portal operated by Ciigma Technologies S.L., Spanish tax ID (NIF) B26584524, registered with the Commercial Registry of Madrid (sheet M-876098), with its registered office at Paseo de Recoletos 5, 28004 Madrid, Spain. You can contact us at legal@yolisto.app.
Some Yolisto features use artificial intelligence (AI) systems and automated processes. This notice explains, in plain language, which features those are, how they work in general terms, what their limitations are, and how you should interpret their results. We publish it because we believe you have the right to know when you are interacting with a machine and when a result is an automated estimate rather than verified data.
This notice supplements our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. For any question about how personal data is handled, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
2. Which Yolisto features use artificial intelligence
The following features currently use AI or automated processing:
2.1 Natural language search
You can type what you are looking for in your own words (for example, "two-bedroom apartment in Caracas with a view") and an AI system interprets your query and translates it into search filters. The system does not decide which properties exist and does not alter listings: it only interprets your request. If the results do not match what you were looking for, you can always use the traditional manual filters.
2.2 Price estimator (valuation tool)
An automated tool that generates an indicative estimate of a property's value in US dollars (USD), based on available market data. Section 3 of this notice, which we ask you to read with particular attention, explains what this estimate is and what it is not.
2.3 Upcoming features: the "Yoli" conversational assistant
We plan to launch a conversational assistant called Yoli, available through WhatsApp and other channels, to help you search for properties and answer questions about using the portal. When it becomes available:
- Yoli will always identify itself, clearly and from the start of the conversation, as an artificial intelligence assistant and not as a person, in accordance with the transparency obligations of the European rules applicable to AI systems.
- Yoli will not provide legal, financial, or investment advice, and its answers will be subject to the same limitations described in Section 4.
- We will update this notice before or at the time of its launch.
3. The price estimator: what it is and what it is not
This section is the most important part of this notice.
3.1 What it is
The price estimate is an automated, indicative calculation generated by a model that analyzes available real estate market data, such as listings published on Yolisto, asking prices by area, and the declared characteristics of properties (location, size, number of bedrooms, among others). It is a starting point for orientation, comparable to checking reference prices for an area.
3.2 What it is NOT
- It is not an appraisal or a professional valuation. It does not replace the assessment of a qualified appraiser, surveyor, or real estate professional who inspects the property.
- It does not account for the actual condition of the property. The model cannot see inside the property: it does not know its state of repair, quality of finishes, renovations, damage, or immediate surroundings that can only be assessed in person.
- It is not a sale price or an offer. It is a statistical reference, not the price at which a property will actually sell or rent.
- It is not advice. Yolisto is not a real estate broker, is not a party to any transaction, and does not provide legal, financial, or investment advice.
3.3 Margin of error
Every automated estimate carries a margin of error. In the Venezuelan market, where public transaction data is limited and asking prices can differ substantially from final closing prices, that margin of error can be significant. Two apparently similar properties can have very different actual values. Treat the estimate as an approximate reference, not as an exact value.
3.4 How you should use it
Do not make decisions to buy, sell, rent, invest, or apply for credit based solely on Yolisto's estimate. Before any significant decision, we recommend that you:
- Compare the estimate with the listing agency or advisor and with other sources.
- Visit the property.
- Obtain an independent professional appraisal or valuation whenever the amount or the decision warrants it.
4. General limitations of the AI features
The AI systems we use are helpful but imperfect tools. In particular:
- They can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated results, even when those results are presented with apparent confidence.
- Natural language search may misinterpret a query and show results that do not exactly match what you asked for.
- Answers and estimates depend on the quality of the available data; if a listing contains errors, results that rely on it may contain them too.
- Listing information is published by the advertising agencies and advisors. Yolisto does not verify every data point. Before making any decision, verify the information directly with the agency responsible for the listing.
5. Data used by the AI features
The AI features primarily process property and market data (property characteristics, asking prices, areas). Where an AI feature processes personal data (for example, the text of a query linked to your account), that processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we process, on what legal basis, for how long, and what rights you can exercise. We do not use the AI features to make automated decisions with legal effects on you.
6. Continuous improvement and error reporting
We work continuously to improve the accuracy of our AI features and estimates by incorporating more data and refining our models. Even so, errors are possible.
If you find an incorrect result, an estimate you believe is clearly wrong, or inappropriate behavior in any AI feature, you can report it at legal@yolisto.app. Your report helps us improve the service for the whole community.
7. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when we add new AI features (such as Yoli, virtual tours, or others) or when applicable regulations change. The current version will always be published on this page, together with its last updated date.
